Diamond Show

My first solo show 🌹 In november, when the intensive filming season ended, all the cotton was harvested and the farmers went back home for the winter, I was left alone. Walking around the bazaar, I found diamond mosaics, which suddenly appeared from nowhere and became very popular in Tashkent. I spent the whole winter watching ukrainian tv shows and doing my chinese diamond art. From the first of april I’m going back to filming, winter is over. In this work I was reflecting on how narratives of diamond paintings reflect the country. I also thought about spaces of art representation, in Uzbekistan there is 1 good independent art gallery, that is closed for now, so I placed my art in Fortnite, Minecraft and virtual gallery. credits @aritunaritunaritun @goooberrr @joseftumari @thbernie @yanaxarasho
